A fellow of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, Dr. Bosquez earned first place at the group’s national meeting for his research on marathon runners and potentially fatal sodium imbalances. He graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Bosquez takes in the local craft beer and dining options around Austin. He enjoys mountain biking and working out, part of how he demonstrates the importance of setting a good example for his patients by living an active, healthy lifestyle. Dr. Bosquez and his wife, Gretchen, have four children.
