Joshua Fox, MD

Joshua Fox, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, is dedicated to delivering the highest level of personalized care as he treats countless men and women in the Austin, Texas area. He provides a variety of hip, knee, shoulder and elbow services, specializing in reconstructive and trauma surgery for the pelvis and extremities as well as joint replacement.

Dr. Fox and his patients benefit from his diverse educational background and advanced medical training.

He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering before switching fields to health care, earning his medical doctorate at the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio. After serving his residency at the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. Fox completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma and reconstruction at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Dr. Fox has been working with robotic surgery since 2012; he now trains other surgeons to use cutting edge technology to tailor joint replacement surgery to each patient’s specific needs. Robot assisted surgery for knee and hip allows for precision in placement of implants and quicker recovery for patients.
