John Pearce, MD

John Pearce, MD, is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and provides expert care for bone, joint, and muscle issues to the women and men of Austin, Texas. Beyond general orthopedics, Dr. Pearce offers top-notch services in elbow, shoulder, hand, and lower extremity total joint replacement, as well as sports medicine.

As a devoted orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Pearce is driven by extensive field experience, medical education, and training.

He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. After earning his doctorate, Dr. Pearce moved to San Antonio to serve his residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Additionally, Dr. Pearce completed his fellowship in lower extremity reconstruction and sports medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Providing diligent and individualized care, Dr. Pearce is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and recognized as a leader by his peers and patients alike. Austin Monthly magazine named him one of Austin’s Best Doctors in 2002, 2004, 2007, and 2009. Texas Monthly honored him on its Super Doctor list every year from 2005 to 2018.
